This autumn Alyssa Milano will return to the TV with NBC's 'My Name Is Earl'. With a role completely different, the actress will charm her fans again. The actress will be a potential love interest for the leading character of Earl (Jason Lee), reports TV Guide's Michael Ausiello. Ausiello says  that the character, Samantha, is "tough and quirky."  Milano also has two forthcoming projects for the big screen. My Name Is Earl will air NBC Thursdays starting on September 27.

Alyssa Milano has been designed the new lead ambassador for the Global Network For Neglected Tropical Disease Control. The actress is bringing awareness of the 13 chronic and disabling bacterial and parasitic infections, usually named as "diseases of poverty," which attack over one billion people internationally. Milano has begun her new role in the organization with a $250,000 donation. She explains, "Words cannot fully express the devastation and horror caused by NTDs (neglected tropical diseases). Until now, these diseases have been hidden in the shadows, but working with the Global Network, I am focused on bringing this tragedy to the public eye."

Actress Alyssa Milano has trasformed her passion for baseball into a new fashion brand. The former Charmed beauty, who is currently engaged to  Los Angeles Dodgers star Brad Penny, has designed a collection  of trendy vests, T-shirts and hoodies featuring the logos of the top teams. Milano also struts her Touch by Alyssa Milano clothing in the new Major League Baseball official clothing catalogue and online.
